Robe
Beautiful pale and luminous gold color with green reflections
Nose
Expressive, straight, with nuances of white flowers complicated by delicate notes of apricot and fresh pineapple
Palate
The palate is full and fresh, with a beautiful structure given by the length in the mouth. A nice expression of the aromas perceived on the nose: an explosion of floral notes of hawthorn and generous and fresh flavors of apricot underlined by a mineral touch and refreshing zest.
Food & wine pairing
This lively and frank Vermentino wine can be served as an aperitif with petits fours or savoury cakes.
It will be the ideal companion for your seafood platters: oysters, shells, sea urchins, crustaceans, shrimp and smoked salmon and will perfectly accompany your scallops, your fish or veal carpaccio fish, your grilled or baked fish, or your fritto misto, your "spaghetti alle vongole" or your risotto "ai frutti di mare".
It will be very elegant with your white meats.
You can also combine this complex and long in the mouth 100% Rolle with salads and appetizers rich in taste: Greek salad, salade niçoise or white or green asparagus, melon with parma ham, tomatoes and mozzarella.
We will also like it as an accompaniment to goat cheeses and pear or lemon desserts.
Terroir & culture
The Mira Luna terroir is characterized by clay-limestone soils and a dry Mediterranean climate benefiting from cool nights related to altitude

In the heart of Provence, in a hilly landscape where the earth takes a shade of red ochre hue, lies a place steeped in mystery and charm. Mira Luna estate is part of the historic Miraval estate and extends over nearly 100 hectares of rolling Provencal garrigue and pine and oak forest in the heart of which we cultivate our vineyards and olive trees.
This exceptional terroir allows the grape varieties to express themselves frankly and fully, producing wines that are fresh, aromatically complex and perfectly balanced.

Here, the crops are grown respectfully in organic farming and according to the principles of biodynamics, observing and listening to nature.

Cradle of the living, Mira Luna is located between Correns and Châteauvert, two municipalities of green Provence respectful of the environment, first 100% biological commune for one and located in protected area Natura 2000 for the other.
Oak and pine forests, poplar and streamside ash groves, meadows, scrubland of Juniper, Cistus, Thyme, Lavender and Rosemary: the richness of the habitats present within Mira Luna allows the animal and plant species it shelters to thrive.

Preserving this wealth is our priority and serves as a common thread in our agricultural practices: organic farming, plant cover, maintenance of open wild meadows, establishment of beehives, large protected areas, etc.

Harvest & Winemaking
Each step of the obtaining of our wines is carefully orchestrated to capture and offer you the quintessence of Nature.

Our grapes are harvested when ripe, after checking the sugar/acidity balance, and are hand-picked at night for pressing in the early hours of the morning when temperatures are still cool. Each plot is harvested and extracted separately and the first fraction obtained by pressing is vatted and vinified separately.
After winemaking, the best vintages are carefully selected thanks to the talent of our oenologist to become your wines. The rest of the vintages are sold in bulk, and are not used in Mira Luna wines.

Rolle in its purest expression

For this wine of great personality, we have chosen to express in a pure and authentic way an emblematic grape variety of Provence offering you a unique sensory experience with each sip: Rolle also called Vermentino, which is renowned for producing expressive and straight wines with lovely aromatic complexity, floral and fruity notes, and a fullness in the mouth while maintaining a refreshingly acidulous tension.
