The immortelle, a Mediterranean plant with a thousand virtues

The immortelle, also called Italian helichrysum, is a plant with Mediterranean yellow flowers known for its many virtues for the skin and for its characteristic sweet and spicy smell.

Immortelle is rich in powerful phenolic compounds, including flavonoids (kaempferol, naringenin, quercetin, helichrysin), polyphenols such as arzanol and arenol and phenolic acids, known for their soothing properties and for neutralizing free radicals responsible for cell aging. In cosmetics, immortelle is prized for soothing the skin and for its ability to protect the skin from oxidative damage caused by UV rays and pollution, thus helping to maintain the elasticity and youth of the skin. It is also known to promote microcirculation and reduce puffiness and redness.

Its essential oil is also used in aromatherapy for its anti-hematoma, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, especially to soothe blows and bruises.

In synergy with the olive oil cuvée Les Centenaires, an exceptional concentrate of polyphenols

The olive oil Les Centenaires Mira Luna comes from the oldest olive trees of the Domaine de la Baume in Tourtour. These olive trees are more than 500 years old; they resisted frost and fire and each time left, forming today joyful rounds of 8 meters in circumference formed by six or seven trunks around a matte and old calcined stumps.

Symbols of resilience, these centuries-old olive trees offer us an oil exceptionally concentrated in polyphenols, more than 5 times the rate of a classic extra virgin olive oil, known for their antioxidant power to prevent and slow the aging of the skin, and for their soothing and repairing virtues.
